An interactive digital poster for the 'Australian Cybernetic: A point through time' exhibition. Working with Kopi Su Studios, I developed motion tracking for this artwork. They provided an animation sequence that I animate based on a user's position, creating a dynamic and engaging experience.
This poster uses computer vision to create an interactive viewer experience. Using ml5.js and a webcam, the system analyses the pixel distance of the viewers shoulders to estimate their proximity, advancing animations as they approach and rewinding as they step back. When no viewers are detected, the display shifts to a standby sequence.
